Crops
of canola, wheat, barley, and peas are grown on over 7500 acres
with an additional 4000 acres in alfalfa, hay, pasture, and
native forest land. Purebred Hereford cattle are raised as a
cow-calf operation.
In
1997 a 40 year old 70 cow dairy operation was phased out in
favor of outfitting and tourism programs.
