Maydel’s outfitting area has an abundance of bears with little to no other hunting pressure. Our exclusive area includes remote locations with most of our bears having never been hunted! Here at Maydel Outdoors we strive to give you an unforgettable outdoor experience while exercising good sportsmanship, safety and ethical hunting. Our goal is to provide you with the best opportunity to take a trophy black bear and share in the enjoyment of your success. Our numerous bait sites are closely monitored before and during your hunt to ensure that bears visit them consistently on a daily basis and that the bait remains active during your hunt. Digital cameras are used to allow us to judge the size of the bears visiting the bait and ensure your opportunity at a trophy. Once you have harvested your trophy the outdoor experience does not end. Your trip is filled with fishing, hiking, checking bait sites, quading and exploring new territory.
